Information regarding the staff and the business
Hi, I’m Kaci, the founder of this business. I have taken care of dogs for most of my life, owning my own pet for 10 years, and caring for relatives' pets beyond that. In December of 2025, I started dog walking professionally and it was the best career change I’ve ever made. I have a level 2 qualification in Canine First Aid, level 3 Btec in Animal Management and knowledge in Canine Behaviour. Alongside this, I am hoping to gain qualifications in dog training so I can help out your pets beyond exercise!
Outside of pet related qualifications, I spent 3 years at the University of Kent obtaining my BSc in Wildlife Conservation and then went on to get an MSc in Ecological Survey Skills. Although it is currently just me in the business, I am hoping to employ staff in the future when the client base starts growing!
My focus is on safe, structured walks and attentive care tailored to each dog.
Kaci’s Pups is my small business specialising in canine care from walks to vet trips and care whilst you’re away. Founded in 2026, with the main client base to be in Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell, although areas can be expanded on individual circumstances.
There is only one member of staff currently in the company; however, if other employees are hired, they will hone the necessary qualifications & certificates (DBS, Canine First Aid, Canine Behavior and some, Canine training). We offer multiple services including solo walks, group walks, vet trips, house visits (daily or extended), and in the future, dog training.
Services are confirmed manually to maintain quality, consistency, and safety - not just availability.
Services are carefully planned to avoid overcrowding, rushing, or stress. Each dog receives the attention they deserve.
Your dog’s wellbeing and comfort always come first. We take the necessary steps to ensure safety at all times.
